This is the first recipe that really turned me on to world cuisine! It is super easy and deceptively complex. Still one of my favorites!
Korean Stir Fried BeefIngredients
1 tbl Sesame seeds, crushed
1 ½ lb. of lean boneless beef (sirloin is good) sliced thin, against the grain
6 tbl Soy Sauce
2 tbl Sugar
2 tbl Sesame oil
3 green onions thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp Fresh ginger, grated
Directions
Combine above ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for one to two hours. In a wok or high sided pan, over high heat, place 2 tbl vegetable oil add ½ the beef stirring constantly until meat is browned on both sides. Remove meat and repeat with remaining beef. Serve with rice and Kim Chi.
